Chris Chabot played at the Kilns Bookstore a few weeks back. It was, in my opinion, one of those shows most of Bend should be kicking itself for missing. Chris and his band sounded amazing as they worked through most of his new album. With his black jacket and a harmonica around his neck, Chris at moments had an eerie resemblance to Johnny Cash and musically covered the same vast emotional territory and personal transparency as The Man in Black's later works.
